Being active in israel since 1989, Izabo's music has been described as a "Brilliant, action packed combination of Psychadelic Rock, Disco, Punk and Arabic spices", or, if we are to name-drop, like an unlikely cross between Led Zeppelin, the Talking Heads, and Um Kultum. Featuring high-to-ultra-high vocals, twisting and expressive arab-flavoured guitar work (Ran Shem Tov), powerfully funky basslines (Yonatan Levy), arrogantly catchy keyboards (Shiri Hadar) and intense disco beats (drummer Nir Mantzur), Izabo have established themselves as one of Israel's most absorbing live acts.
